When reaching out for job opportunities, remember to be courteous and professional. Providing your CV and contact information is important, but try not to be overly persistent.

EU citizens also have an opportunity to use the services of EURES – a cooperation network designed to facilitate the free movement of workers within the EU/EEA member states. EURES advisers will provide information on the labour market, employment and training opportunities, recognition of qualifications and other relevant information. Visit EURES website to read more about their services.
If you have a residence permit, you can register with the Public Employment Service (known as Užimtumo tarnyba) to get advice on finding a job and, if you have some work, to apply for unemployment benefits in Lithuania. The services of the Employment Service are provided free of charge. If you’re receiving unemployment benefits from the EU/EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you can come to Lithuania to look for a job and continue receiving your benefits during your job search.
Prepare a Great CV: Your CV is your chance to make a good first impression. Make sure it's well-organized, clear, and free of errors. Include your personal details, contact info, work experience, education, skills, hobbies, and references. The Europass CV is popular in Lithuania and can be a great choice.
Write a Convincing Cover Letter: In your cover letter, briefly introduce yourself, explain why you’re interested in the job and the company, and highlight why you’re a great fit. Use this letter to expand on your CV and showcase your enthusiasm. Keep it to one A4 page.
Ace the Interview: The job interview is a chance for both you and the employer to see if you’re a good match. It’s a two-way conversation where you can learn more about the company and decide if it’s the right place for you.
