Tauragė 

A project is being implemented in Tauragė aimed at facilitating the integration of Lithuanian residents of foreign origin. One of the project’s activities is Lithuanian language instruction. Project participants can study Lithuanian free of charge and are provided with all the necessary learning materials. The project is planned to run until the end of 2028.

Akmenė District

Lithuanian language courses for foreigners at A1 level are taking place in Akmenė District. The courses are currently organized from November 4, 2025, to June 11, 2026. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Educational Support Service. The training group consists of 12 participants.

At the moment, all places are filled, and a waiting list has been created, which will be reviewed when forming a new group in autumn 2026.

Jonava District

From November 3, 2025, free state Lithuanian language courses are held at the Jonava District Social Services Center on Mondays and Wednesdays. The planned duration of the courses is 200 academic hours. Due to the high number of applicants, the training is organized for two groups: A2 and B1 levels. At present, both groups are fully filled.  Visaginas

In Visaginas, 5 groups of foreigners are currently studying Lithuanian at the A1 level. There is a clear need and interest in the city, so more groups are planned to be organized. Utena

Currently, courses are being held for two groups of foreigners, and two more groups will be formed in March. The courses are conducted in person at Utena University of Applied Sciences. News and online registration are announced on the Facebook page “Sveiki atvykę į Uteną” (“Welcome to Utena”). In autumn, groups are planned for all levels – A1, A2, B1, and B2.
