Supermarkets and Grocery Stores 

For your everyday grocery needs, Lithuania has numerous supermarkets and grocery stores. Major chains include Maxima, Rimi, Lidl, IKI, and Norfa. These stores offer a wide range of products, from fresh produce and dairy to household items and international foods.  

Local Markets 

For a more local shopping experience, visit one of Lithuania’s vibrant markets. Hales Market, Kalvarijų turgus in Vilnius and Urmas, Stoties Turgus in Kaunas are great places to find fresh fruits, vegetables, and traditional Lithuanian products. Online Shopping 

For added convenience, online shopping is also a popular option. Many local retailers have online stores. There are also popular online shops like pigu.lt, varle.lt, a1.lt, etc. Additionally, you can use local delivery services like Bolt or Wolt, which offer both food delivery and other services.

Second-hand Clothing Stores 

As in the rest of the world, the most stylish people in Lithuania care about sustainability. Fashion enthusiasts visit Humana and other second-hand clothing stores, where high-quality clothes can be found at affordable prices. On certain days, large discounts are offered. 

Working time 

Lithuanian shopping malls and supermarkets are super convenient, open 7 days a week from early morning until around 22:00 or 23:00. If you need something late at night, gas station stores on major roads are open 24/7. Just keep in mind that there are restrictions on alcohol sales: you can buy alcohol from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and only until 3:00 PM on Sundays. Alcohol sales are not allowed at night or on September 1st.  

Payment Methods 

In Lithuania, you can use various payment methods, including cash, debit/credit cards, and mobile payments. Many stores and online platforms accept major international cards, making it easy to shop no matter where you’re from.
